PIEDEMONTE
FROM THE HEART OF THE LAND

Our winery is located in the town of Olite in Navarra (Spain). It was founded in 1992 by a group of wine growers who shared the desire to produce quality wines by combining tradition with modern winemaking techniques.

It bears its name from the location of its facilities and vineyards in the area known as ‘Piedemonte de Tafalla-Olite’,a plain that stands between the Pyrenees mountains and the Ebro valley (the ‘Ribera’) of Navarra, between the hill ranges of Ujué to the east and the lower hills along the river Cidacos to the west.

"

"to ignore olite is to ignore navarra"

Arturo Campión

Olite is the most representative winemaking town in Navarra, with a 20-century-long traditionof grape growing and quality and constancy in making wines.
Olite was also the birthplace of the wine cooperative movement through the creation of the first two cooperative wineries in Navarra in the early 20th century.

The town is now home to a number of sector bodies and institutions: the Viticulture and Enology Station of Navarra (EVENA), the Control Board for the Navarra DO, the Wine Guild of Navarra and the Museum of the Vine and Wine. It is part of the Wine Route of Navarra and opens its doors to guided visits, tastings and other winerelated cultural and leisure activities.
